Process

The injection moulding machine and all peripheral equipment are connected to a central system to have a complete overview of all critical process and equipment parameters.

In addition to deliver the SM3600-TP injection moulding machine, Hacoplast supplied the complete production cell turnkey, including a KUKA six-axis robot with a reach of 3.9 meters. Because intensive cooling is required in the mold, 180 cooling circuits have been set up next to the machine.

Cooperation

Because this would be the first cooperation with Hacoplast, the customer first purchased a JM178-ai-SVP/2 (178 ton clamping force) to experience the cooperation with Hacoplast. After this project was successfully completed, the project of the SM3600-TP  (3.600 ton clamping force) was started.

In the transparent cooperation with the customer, we were able to offer a competitive solution for his needs and after 8 months the production cell of the SM3600-TP was installed.

The turn-key contained the following components: Injection moulding machine, 6-axis robot, hopper loaders, colouring equipment, machine and mold cooling, chain conveyors and safety fence. In addition, the total integration, software/control, project management and production start. After delivery, the operators were trained.
